Concern stakeholders have moved to save the situation in Imo state from degenerating into a state of anarchy, they charged political gladiators not to throw caution to the wind and be more considerate in their dealings for the best interest of the state and Nigeria at large.

The role of Traditional rulers in nation-building can't be overemphasized, The Imo state traditional rulers council in their quest for peace have elicited an emergency meeting to arrest the unhealthy political tension in the state.

Addressing journalists at their complex in Owerri the state capital the royal fathers said it has become very necessary that they wade into the matter to resolve the feud between the present and the former governor of the state.

Three other monarchs who represented the three senatorial zones of the state while bearing their minds all condemned the actions of the former governor Rochas Okorocha.

While lamenting over the ills that trailed the administration Okorocha the royal fathers said several attempts were made to call him to order by virtue of sincere and constructive advises but he always prefers to follow his own will.

It is believed that the intervention by the traditional rulers led by Eze Sam Ohiri will proffer a lasting solution to the uproar.
