The Ogun State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have arrested one Ahmed Hassan for allegedly tampering, vandalising and stealing electrical installations at Ijumo -Ologboni in Ewekoro North Local Council Development Authority.

Parading the suspect, Hammed Abodunrin said the command got a tip-off as investigation confirmed vandalisation of six armoured cables underground connected to the two poles of the newly constructed light rail across the village.

He further noted that the damage done has caused total darkness in the community.

The commandant, however, appealed to members of the public to avail the command useful information towards nipping in the bud vandals.
