EFCC declares support for Oyo Govt anti corruption drive
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has commended the Oyo state government for taking the fight against corruption to the grassroots with the establishment of the state anti-corruption unit.
Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde had last month signed into law the bill on the establishment of the Oyo state Anti-corruption unit.
Speaking with Journalists at the sideline of an event in Ibadan, the Zonal Head, Ibadan office, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Friday Ebelo commended the government for the initiative adding that there is the need to take the fight against corruption to all nooks and crannies of the country.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Ebelo promised the support of the Commission for the Makinde's led administration in the area of anti-corruption crusade while calling on other States to emulate the gesture.
