The judicial panel of inquiry to investigate police brutality and other extrajudicial killings in Kaduna state has finally commence hearing of cases.

The hearing of petitions began Tuesday at the state house Kaduna, with forty six petitions so far presented to the panel.

Abubakar Garba Bala, a victim of police brutality and Bar Yakubu kurah Musa, counsel to four petitioners who spoke to newsmen recount their ordeal and also pray for justice from the panel of inquiry after investigation is made.

Justice Wyop David Shiri chairman Kaduna state judicial panel of inquiry says they are having difficulties serving the respondent notice while calling on petitioners to contact them if they are having challenges with getting services of lawyers.
