Oyo CP Vows to Unravel Identity of Hoodlums That Attacked Officers
The Commissioner of police in Oyo state, Ngozi Onadeko has vowed to uncover the identity of the hoodlums who attacked her men around Labiran area of Ibadan, the state capital.
Recall that hoodlums were said to have attacked some officers who were assigned to arrest a suspected armed robber in the area on Thursday.
The Hoodlums were alleged to have assaulted the officers and set the suspect free during the attack.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the Commissioner of Police while speaking with Journalists at the sideline of stakeholders meeting in Ibadan said the command has commenced investigation on the matter.
She revealed that the incident remains a fallout out of the EndSARS protest as most youths now see policemen as an object of attack adding that the command will not tolerate such acts any longer.
The Commissioner of Police appealed to residents of the state to see policemen as part of the society that should be given their due respect and recognition at all times.
