After several weeks of accusation and counter-accusation over snake saga at the hallowed chamber of the Ondo state House of Assembly, the lawmakers have relocated to another building within the assembly complex to continue with their statutory legislative functions.

The abandoned main chamber is already in deplorable condition and set for a massive renovation.

The House which has not been holding plenary sitting since the snake saga that occurred at the complex months ago is now set for normal legislative work following the robust legislative duty following the inauguration of the makeshift chamber to be used as a temporary Hallowed chamber.

There was a report that big snakes recently disrupted plenary sitting of the lawmakers as a result of the poor condition of the Assembly complex but the report had since been denied by the House leadership when the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu visited the complex.

The Makeshift Chamber is located inside the library of the Assembly’s complex.
