Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State led government officials for the commissioning of the newly reconstructed Stadium–Luba–Tam Balogun Road in Ijebu-Ode. He reaffirmed the commitment to delivering transformational infrastructure and economic development across the State.

According to Abiodun, "we made it clear that our administration remains fully committed to the Ogun Deep Sea Port project, which is progressing steadily and will position our state as a major maritime and economic hub in Africa.

"We also disclosed that oil exploration activities have commenced in Ogun Waterside, bringing us closer to realizing our vision of making Ogun an oil-producing state.

"We clarified that the relocation of the Dangote Refinery to Lagos occurred before we assumed office and reiterated that we did everything possible to retain the project in Ogun State. Our focus remains on attracting investments, creating opportunities, and ensuring sustainable economic growth for our people.

"We are proud of the remarkable progress recorded across Ogun East, including the federal takeover of TASUED, the Dry Port project, ongoing oil exploration activities, the reconstruction of the Sagamu–Ijebu-Ode Expressway, and the completion of over 26 roads in Ijebu-Ode, with additional projects currently under construction.

"Together, we will continue to build a prosperous, economically vibrant, and globally competitive Ogun State."
