EDO IDP SEEKS SKILL ACQUISITION
The need for skill acquisition among the internally displaced persons camped in Edo has become a burning issue among other needs craved for by the handlers.
Evelyn Omigie, one of the camp assistant who spoke to Galaxy Tv news at the camp, call for the technical and vocational training of the IDP besides the formal education to equip them to be self-reliant. While addressing enumerating the economic hardship faced in the camp, said lack of food items, learning materials, lack of medicine and health personnel and other existential needs have become a challenge. Stressing that despite the little that comes from spirited individuals and some faith based organization are still not enough to cater for over 2,000 of them in camp.
