Okada rider arrested for beheading 5-year-boy

A commercial motorcyclist, identified as Gbenga Oduola has been arrested by officers of the Oyo state police command in connection with the murder of a five-year-old boy Fadeyi Opeyemi after she raped her mother, Bosede Jimoh.

Also, the command arrested three suspects who disguised as officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

According to the Commissioner of Police in the state, Shina Olukolu, Bosede Jimoh and her son, Fadeyi Opetemi, now deceased, boarded a commercial motorcycle operated by the suspect, Oduola Gbenga from Oja oba market in Igboora area 6 of Ibarapa central-local government.

The suspect took Bosede and his son to his private house where he raped her three times before daybreak and later beheaded his son for unknown reason while he dumped the remaining body at a nearby bush.

The remaining body part was later recovered at the backyard of the suspect and deposited at the mortuary of the General hospital for autopsy.

Also, three suspects, including a social Science graduate of the University of Ibadan were paraded for disguising as officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission with fake identity cards and search warrant to extort and intimidate Innocent citizens.

The gang leader, Omotayo Segun confessed to the crime stressing that other members of the gang are now on the run.

Sixteen other suspects were paraded by the Commissioner of Police in connection with offences ranging from armed robbery, kidnapping to unlawful possession of ammunition.
