In Abeokuta,  the state capital, the Ogun state police command on Monday embarked on a show of force over the planned revolution now protest.

Correspondent John Felix reports that the protest suffered set back as security agencies took over major locations within Abeokuta metropolis.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the show of force, Ogun State Police PRO, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the police is on the ground to resist any form of violent protest in the state.

While assuring members of the public of safety, the police command added it will exercise her duties within the ambit of the law.
