Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have shot and killed a student of the Delta state university Abraka while two others were abducted along the Warri/Abraka expressway.

The student identified as Stephen was said to have been travelling with two other students in a car to school after a long holiday,  while Stephen who sat at the back of the car was shot and died instantly, the other occupants were abducted and taken to an unknown location. 

When contacted, Delta police spokesperson Edafe Bright confirmed the incident saying efforts are on to free the abducted students and arrest the culprits.

Meanwhile, the abductors are yet to contact the families of any ransom as the time of filing this report.
