Corp members tasked on self-reliance
Corp members of the Nigeria youth service corps have been advised to make judicious use of numerous training they have received during their year of service.
The governor of Anambra state Mr. Willie Obiano made the call while addressing the one thousand one hundred and fifty-eight corps members of batch C who successfully completed the service in the state.
According to the governor who was represented by the head of service Anambra state Barr. Harry Uduh the training they got during their stay is sufficient to get them started on their own.
He, however, urged them not to hesitate to contribute their own quota to the nation’s economy and ensure that nothing hinders them from putting to use the numerous skills they have acquired.
Also speaking the NYSC state coordinator Mr Kehinde Aremu lauded the comport of the passing out corps members while attributing their successful end of service to their commitment, quick adaptation, and resilient nature.
He urged to take with them the good values. He, however, thanked the state government for their support.
