Church debunks fetish allegation

Elders of promise Land Prophetic church in Akure have reacted on the allegation of fetish substance buried on the altar of the church.


It should be recalled that a suspended worker of the church alleged that six placentae were buried on the altar of the headquarters of the church in Shasha area of Akure the Ondo state capital.

Reacting on the newspaper publication about the digging of the altar which contrary to the story on the dailies which claimed police laid siege on the church, it was revealed that elders of the church insisted in the digging of the altar to prove the nullity of the allegations.

It was also said the allegations came from a former worker who was expelled from the church vineyard a long time ago and who has vowed to work for the destruction of the ministry and the pastor.

Meanwhile, police did not find anything incriminating on the altar of the church when the digging was carried out.
