Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has appeared before the screening committee of the All Progressive Congress APC for the presidential aspirants in the party.

 Speaking to journalists after the screening exercise, Lawan expressed satisfaction with the screening process stating that he was indifferent about the ruling All Progressives Congress choosing a consensus candidate.

 He also harped on integrity which he says was why the National Assembly passed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill assuring of being capable of the top job amongst other policies he boasted of achieving when given the opportunity to rule the Country.
