Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State has declared total war against terrorists and bandits in the state. The Governor acknowledged the brevity of the gallant officers of the Nigerian Army, the Department of Security Service, DSS, the Nigeria Police, the various vigilante groups and other security outfits in the fight against terrorists.

He reiterated that the state belongs to the people and cannot be left in the hands of criminals. He declared that "Enough is enough."

The governor assured of necessary support to the security operatives in the state. He insisted that the government will not plat politics with the lives of the people in Kogi State.
