Portugal will be playing the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Wednesday, in their concluding World Cup buildup friendly game before the FIFA World Cup kicks off on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The Nigerian national team will be playing against world celebrated Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Seleçao of Portugal will host the Super Eagles in Leiria on Wednesday, before proceeding for the FIFA 2026 World Cup hosted by the United States, U.S., Canada and Mexico. The Selecao will be playing their World Cup opening match against DR Congo, an African representative.
The DR Congo ousted Nigeria from qualifying for this summer global tournament.
