Norway defeated Cote D'Ivore 2-1; France triumph over Sweden 3-0, while Mexico overrun Ecuador 2-0, to seal their places in the round of 16 knockout stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Earlier, Canada had sent South Africa home in 1-0 victory, while Paraguay defeated Germany, and Brazil defeated Japan 2-1; and Morocco eliminated Netherlands.

Portugal will be playing Croatia, Spain against Austria, U.S.A. will size up Bosnia Herzegovina, and Belgium versus Senegal for places in the round of 16.
