The Police have foiled fresh terrorists attack in Benue State. Operatives of the Benue State Police Command foiled another attack in Ankpachi- Oglewu community, Ohimini Local Government Area, after 10 armed bandits were sighted and repelled following intelligence.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP. Cletus Nwadiaogbu, who visited the community after the incident, said the swift response of officers and men of the command stationed at the Otukpo - Ohimini strategic area, near the vast forest area notorious for kidnapping and bandit activities, repelled the bandits.

Averting what would have become another blood bath in Ankpachi- Oglewu community, Ohimini LGA, Benue State, the Police Commissioner and his men from tactical squads and division, entered Idekpa Forest, another notorious hideouts for criminals to conduct clearance operation in order to flush out bandits who have continued to unleash terror on residents of Idekpa, Ondo - Ogboju, and neighboring communities. After hours of clearance operation at Idekpa Forest despite its vastness and poor terrain, CP Cletus Nwadiaogbu, vows to return to dismantle any enclave of the criminals and ensure peace returns to the community.
