The Delta State police command has recorded a major breakthrough in the fight against crime and Criminality by arresting a member of a kidnap syndicate, recovered arms and ammunition, as well as illicit Drugs and recovered vehicles.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, at a quarterly press briefing at the Command Headquarters, Asaba, displayed illicit Drugs in their hundreds, arms, ammunition and vehicles recovered from armed robbery suspects, drug Traffickers as well Kidnappers. He laid emphasis on the arrest of a kidnap syndicate member through intelligence gathering.

CP Yemi Oyeniyi assured residents in the state of the police resolve to tackle crime and Criminality, and making the state safe for all.
