Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomole has said that the party campaigns for the 2019 general election would be issue based on character and integrity.
Addressing the State House correspondents after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, Comrade Oshiomole said the campaigns will not be about religion or ethnicity but based on character and integrity of candidates.
Oshiomole dismissed allegations of disunity in APC saying the party is better of than the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said the PDP has more challenges than the APC, adding that it is only buying time before its explosion.
The APC chairman also responded to allegations of complacency coming from the Rochas Okorocha-led APC in Imo state, saying what happened in the state was for the peace and progress of the party in the state.
On Senator Shehu Sani’s multi million dollar allegation against the party, the chairman said such was the figment of the senators imagination.
While denying recieving any dollar to favour any senatorial candidate, Oshiomole described the platform through which the report came out as biased.
