Wike, FCT Commissioner of Police FCT in close door with Senators.

The minister of the federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike and the Commissioner of Police in FCT are currently at a close door session with members of the Senate over the state of insecurity in Abuja and it's environ.

The Senate had on Wednesday, February  28th, summoned the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike, the Commissioner of Police, FCT, over the kidnapping incident that occurred at Galadimawa Area of FCT, where five persons, including an aide of a serving Senator were murdered.
 At the plenary on Wednesday, Senator Ned Nwoko, from the Delta North presented the report on the incident to the Senate, where he commended the Police for their swift response in arresting perpetrators of the heinous crimes.
 
Galaxy tv reports that Wike and the Commissioner of Police in FCT arrived the Senate Chamber around noon and were received by the principal officers of the Senate before they were ushered into the Chamber.
 On arrival, the Senate resolved to the committee of the whole at close session to have first hand information regarding the state of security in the federal capital territory.
The meeting is ongoing as of the time of this report. The purpose is on the spate of kidnapping and other forms of insecurity in the FCT.
