ODSG vows to improve education sector
Ondo state government has reiterated its commitment to revive and standardize the educational sector in the state to enhance learning at all levels of academics.
This was said by the representative of governor Rotimi Akeredolu, Wunmi Ilawole at the award presentation ceremony of Ondo state oil-producing area development commission essay, quiz and mathematics competition for primary and secondary students in Ilaje and Ese Odo local government areas held in Akure.
The special assistant to governor Akeredolu on education, Wunmi Ilawole said the government is bent on creating a conducive learning environment anywhere in the state.
Also speaking at the award presentation ceremony, the chairman, OSOPADEC,Gbenga Edema charged the people in the Niger delta area of Ondo state to invest in education because according to him, that is the only way the people can enjoy opportunities that abound in the area.
The high point of the event was a surprise award given to OSOPADEC chairman by the student union of ilaje ,ESE odo in recognition of his efforts to develop the mandate area.
