Man fakes his own adoption, collect millions

A 43-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Obioma from Awonmama community in Orlu West local government area of Imo state has been arrested for faking his own adoption just to get money from his close relations.

The suspect who was paraded by  Imo police command alongside two of his accompanists admitted to the crime and pleaded that justice be tempered with mercy.

According to the statement made available to newsmen in Owerri the state capital by the state Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, Orlando Ikeokwu, exhibits recovered from the suspects were eight SIM cards; a laptop, a mobile phone and Lexus 330.

The other suspects arrested alongside Obioma, were Iheanacho Amanda Francis Ugochi, 22-year-old woman from Ezi Ogbaku in Mbaitoli local government area and Agbo Samuel, a 42-year-old man from Mgba Ohahukwu local government area in Ebonyi state.  They have continued to connive to swindled their victim of his hard-earned money.

Correspondent Ajibade Awofeso reports that 821,000 and N1 million were deceitfully collected their victim Mr Ugo Emeka, said to be living in US.
