The Ekiti state government has provided relief materials for some victims of flood disasters in the state.

The victims who are students of the Ekiti state university were affected by the heavy downpour in the state on Saturday.

Speaking at the presentation, the governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi said his administration is committed to the well being of residents of the state.

Fayemi who was represented by the secretary to Ekiti state government, Biodun Oyebanji restated his administration's commitment to the provision of conducive learning environment.

Beneficiaries of the intervention appreciated the state government's effort and appealed for more intervention to cushion the effects of the flood.
