Bayelsa Police Command Parades 27 Suspects
The Bayelsa state police commissioner Mike Okoli has threatened to deal decisively with criminal elements in the state, in ensuring that Bayelsa is free from all criminal activities
He made the disclosure while briefing journalists at the state police headquarters in Yenagoa where he paraded 27 suspects arrested for various offences ranging from murder, armed robbery, kidnapping and military impersonators.
Addressing journalists, the Bayelsa police chief said fighting crime can only be successful through useful information from members of the public.
Speaking further, he stressed the number of suspects arrested and their involvement in various crime, while some of the suspects spoke on their involvement.
Our Correspondent reports that items recovered from the suspects include One locally-made gun, two power generators, television sets, as well as a Toyota car with a Lagos registration number.
