Heavily armed bandits have attacked a church in Manini Tasha village a community in Chukun local government area of Kaduna State, kidnapping many church worshipers.

The attack which took place on Sunday saw a medical doctor killed  in the process while an unspecified number of worshippers were abducted by the attackers

An eyewitness, Mr Yakubu Bala Who escaped the ugly incident at Haske Baptist Church in Manini village, told our correspondent via telephone that bandits, who were heavily armed, stormed the church and surrounded the worshippers at about 9 am.

He explained that the bandits came in their number, heavily armed and began to shoot sporadically at the worshipers, who scampered for safety in different directions.
