Akpabio tasks Children to stay resilient

Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio has encouraged Nigerian children to remain resilient and determined, as Nigerian Children joined their counterpart worldwide to celebrate International Children day.

Represented by the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, Senator Akpabio, Akpabio who addressed selected students from schools across the Federal Capital Territory at the National Assembly, charged the children to continue to draw inspiration from the story of Helen Keller.
GALAXY TV reports that Akpabio maintained that Keller, who overcame deafness and blindness, serves as a testament to perseverance and courage, noting that, despite her seemingly insurmountable obstacles, she refused to let her limitations define her.
He charged the children to adopt the same spirit of resilience, integrity while advising the young audience to build their character on the cornerstone of honesty, fairness, and kindness.
The event, attended by other  senators, included an interactive session where students posed questions about legislative responsibilities.
Senators, including the Senate minority whip, engaged with the students, fostering a deeper understanding of the legislative process and the role of lawmakers.
