Anthony Joshua is staying home in self-isolation like the majority of the country amid the current coronavirus pandemic.

The unified heavyweight world champion posted clips of himself homeschooling his son JJ on Wednesday before it was announced that Prince Charles tested positive for the disease.

As he came into contact with Prince Charles at the Commonwealth Day celebration service 16 days ago, the question was raised about AJ’s condition.

However, a spokesperson for Joshua said: “AJ is at home following government guidelines, he is fit and well. “He wishes everyone affected a speedy recovery and a huge thank you to all the front line key workers.” “It’s humbling to see people giving their everything right now to keep us safe. Shout out to everyone on the front-line. “We see you, we appreciate you, we thank you and we’re in awe of you.” As things stand, Joshua is scheduled to fight Kubrat Pulev at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 20.

There is obviously a strong chance this will now be rescheduled due to the pandemic.

Once the sport is eventually back underway, the fight may have to move venues too as Spurs could need their ground back for Premier League matches.
