The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has rejected INEC's issuance of the certificate of return to the PDP candidate in the Bayelsa State gubernatorial election, Duoye Diri.

Oshiomhole at a media briefing in Abuja, said Senator Diri cannot be sworn because he did not meet the requirements of the Supreme Court.

 

According to the APC Chairman, after consultation, the party rejected the decision of the electoral umpire threatening to seek legal redress.

 

The former Edo state governor vowed that the party will explore every available legal means to ensure that the will of the people of Bayelsa State prevails.
