Some gunmen have  reportedly kidnapped  a quarry worker at Moniya area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

The Victim, a woman  was taken to an unknown destination immediately she was abducted.

Sources informed our Correspondent that the gunmen stormed the site and kidnapped the victim.

Reacting to the case of Abduction in a statement sent to our Correspondent, the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Oligbenga Fadeyi said the Victim, identified as Agboola Damilola a site worker was abducted along Old Oyo road by suspected five man criminal gang.

He added that officers of Moniya Divisional Police State immediately swung into action and has since commenced rescue mission with a bid to ensure the release of the Victim.

Fadeyi implored members of the public with useful information on the incident to come forward and assist the police.
