Group storms Supreme Court, protest against Appeal Court Judgement
The Coalition for Truth and Justice has faulted the Judgement of the Appeal Court which sacked some Lawmakers under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic party.

The members of the group, who stormed  the Supreme Court in Abuja, with peaceful protest, said Democracy is indeed under threat, if such anomalies are allowed to stand saying as concerned citizens, they brought their  grievances to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, trusting that he would use his good office to ensure that justice is served on the matter that represents a rape of democracy in plateau state.

The group declared that the judgement of the Appeal court has become a case of Justice for sale noting that, it is unacceptable and an indication that Justice in Nigeria has been thrown to the dogs.

The protesters also added that, what played out in Plateau state negates the Judiciary's position, as the hope of common saying the Judiciary is for sale to the highest bidder in Nigeria, if such positions could be taken without recourse to the implication of such on the psychological state of the people.

The group said, they are using the protest to drive the point that justice in Nigeria should not be reserved for a section of the country or any political party stressing that, What happened in Plateau should not be allowed to stand or repeat itself.

They however urged Supreme Court to  rise to the occasion and correct this anomaly or stand the risk of losing whatever is left of the reputation of the Judiciary
