Governor Akeredolu Defends Building A New Governor Lodge
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state on Friday laid the foundation for a new governor’s Lodge at the statehouse, Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital.
This was part of the activities set aside to mark his 100 days in office as the governor on his second term.
Speaking at the foundation laying, Akeredolu said “This is another indication of our solemn resolve and avowed commitment to the redemption agenda of our administration.
He said the governor's lodge he inherited from the last administration had structural defects which experts had warned against occupying.
The Governor further stressed that it had to involve the best cost-effective steps, in pursuant of this, qualified and experienced building experts were invited to work with our in-house professionals to carry out due diligence and survey on the structures.
The Governor later proceeded with other dignitaries to commission the first mosque to be built in Ondo government house.
